We only have a few more songs to record and select for the album, which doesn’t have a name yet, but we’re still aiming to release it by December.
Most of the new songs are a lot more funk and r&b-infuenced than some of the more Beatles-flavored tunes we’ve done, like “Distance” (or the earlier tunes that Rich and I did before Josh came into the band.) There’s a fast r&b-tune with Hammond organs called “Fire But No Spark”, for instance.
Anyways, just giving you an update on the band! As for myself, I just started teaching video guitar lessons on Mahalo.com. By next week, you’ll see me showing how to play “Superstition”, “Ain’t No Sunshine”, “What’s Going On” and even “Low Rider”!
